About Arclight Weddings

Brian Connolly of Arclight Weddings was born in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. He moved to Dublin in 1995, where he studied Film Production in Ballyfermot Senior College. Over the next ten years, he worked on movies including King Arthur, Bloody Sunday and In America, and television shows such as Ballykissangel and Bachelor’s Walk.

In 2004 Brian returned to Cork to set up his own business specialising in wedding films. Utilising his camera and editing skills that he developed from his experience in Dublin and his passion for videography, Brian creates a personalised film that covers every step of your wedding day.

 

Some couples are worried that having a videographer and a photographer will be too much, because they think that they will be surrounded by cameras all day. This will not be the case with Brian.

Using a compact and state of the art camera, Brian films without you even noticing he is there. He understands the necessity for space and the importance of non-intrusive filming. He prides himself on discretion. You will never be asked to pose for his camera, nor will he intrude on the photographer’s work.

What you will get in the end is a film with a running time of between 90 minutes and 2 hours, that will tell the story of your wedding day naturally.

 

There will be moments that will make you laugh. There will be moments that will bring a tear to your eye. But most importantly, there will be moments that you will never want to forget.

Because this day is too important.
